1948 Jeep CJ2A

Stock flatfenders are all the rage now and I will confess that I resisted buying one for years because I didn’t want to jump on the bandwagon.  This one kind of fell in my lap though when I got it from my good friend David Wiggins, who pulled it out of a field in Elko where it had been sitting for the past 30 years.  I am willing to admit when I am wrong, and the bang-for-the-buck of a near stock flatfender is tough to match!  The drivetrain has been rebuilt and lower gearing added, but otherwise this Jeep is very close to being the same as when it rolled off the assembly line 75 years ago.
