2008 Big Tex Trailer

A page dedicated to the trailer?!  Like everything else I own, my 18-foot Big Tex car hauler has been modified to meet my specific needs.  I originally wanted a 20-foot trailer with a steel deck but I bought this trailer in 2008 in Texas for a smoking deal and it has served me well over the years. Every year during King of the Hammers and Easter Jeep Safari I see photos on social media of people on the side of the road with trailer issues.  I have been in that boat before myself on the way back from Mexico, and now perform regular maintenance on the hubs, brakes, and suspension to prevent it from happening again.  I have also added a TireMinder TPS system that allows me to monitor the trailer tire pressure and temperatures using an app on my phone.
