2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon

I bought this Jeep from a close friend who had installed the AEV Highline kit, AEV Pintler wheels, 2.5-inch King remote reservoir shocks, and a huge 31.5-gallon GenRight fuel tank.  I had helped him work on it over the years, adding Yukon chromoly axle shafts, EBC brakes, and a Diablosport tuner.  I feel like this is a “grown up” Jeep.  Even though it has 37s and lockers you can easily drive it down the freeway, and the AEV parts make it understated and stock looking compared to tube fenders, a stinger bumper, and LED lights on every surface.

Rocktrac NP241 4:1 transfer case

Rubicon Dana 44 front axle w/ RCV chromoly axles, 5.38 gears, and factory locker

WJ knuckles with bigger brakes, Skyjacker/Rare Parts dual load ball joints, and crossover steering w/ 1.5-inch 0.250-wall DOM tubing and GM tie rod ends

Rubicon Dana 44 rear axle w/Yukon chromoly axle shafts, 5.38 gears, and factory locker

Skyjacker 2.5-inch dual rate coil springs

JKS Mfg Adjustable Coil Over Spacer (ACOS) w/ integrated air bumps

King 2.5-inch diameter remote reservoir shocks with custom valving

    Are you able to provide more information about how you reloacted or redrilled and braced your lower control arm brackets. It was mentioned in your you tube video. Did you only move the frame side hole, or was the axle side moved as well.

    Also interested in more pictures of the front and rear track bar mounts.

    1. Thanks Nick! I sent you some photos of the track bars and the control arm brackets. I only lowered the mounts at the frame end for the lower control arm brackets, they are the only ones that have enough material to relocate without drop brackets. I can’t take credit for this idea, I stole it from Jim Frens at Nth Degree Mobility.
